Yoga in the Woods dedicated teaching staff looks forward to sharing their love of yoga with you. Our instructors come from many different walks of life, thus bringing their own style of teaching and expertise to their classes. We are proud to have Maureen Bosker, R.N., R.Y.T., Maria Burnash, P.T.A., R.Y.T., Courtney Pond, N.C.T.M.B., Reiki Master III, Steve Althoen, Michael Doe, web designer,and Karen Featherston, Creative Director as members of our staff.

Courtney Becker R.Y.T.
N.C.T.M.B, Reiki Master III, Certified massage therapist has been practicing & teaching yoga for nearly 10yrs. She has practiced extensively with Kathy McNames of Yoga Vermont, Bryan Kest and Beryl Bender Birch. Courtney's warm heart and experienced hands make her a wonderful teacher.

Maureen Bosker R.Y.T.
R.N., R.Y.T. with over 12 yrs of yoga study has given her a deep knowledge and appreciation for the practice of Ashtanga yoga. Maureen has been a long time sudent of Bryan Kest, Beryl Bender Birch, and Kathy McNames. Maureen has had the opportunity to practice with Pattabhi Jois on his annual tours to the United States since 2001.

Maria Burnash R.Y.T.
a physical therapist assistant who loves to teach yoga as a way to heal the body and mind. She has completed a 200hr. ERYT and has completed a 40 teacher training with David Swensen both in Primary and Second Series and has studied yoga with K. Pattabhi Jois, Beryl Bender Birch, Kathy McNames, David Swensen, Manjou Jois, Bryan Kest and Dharma Mittra.Teaching a wide range from gentle basics of yoga to the vigourous practice of Ashtanga.

Yoga in the Woods offers a wide range of classes to meet the needs of each student, beginner through advanced. Scent, sound and temperature are combined to make the student's experience with yoga beneficial for the mind, body and soul.
